About Me

SONY DSCI work with individuals and couples to overcome personal obstacles and to improve their relationships because I believe the relationship we have with our self, and others is important to our sense of wellness and happiness!  Research shows that unhealthy relationships can cause both emotional and physical stress, whereas healthy relationships can enhance and improve overall well-being.

Your desires and preferences are important to me, so I offer personalized support using a diverse range of sound therapeutic techniques to guide and support you toward reaching your goals.  As we engage with one another to effect beneficial change, it is my commitment to provide you with a warm, empathetic and open-minded therapeutic environment where you feel safe to explore, express, learn, heal and discover.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #111853 at HOPE Counseling Center.  I am pleased to offer counseling to individuals, couples and families based on a limited sliding fee scale.  I especially enjoy working with clients who are seeking faith-based, Christian counseling services.

I received my Master of Arts degree in Psychology from Brandman University (formerly Chapman University), graduating with high distinction.  I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology, graduating with honors. I am a member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).

In my personal time, I find fulfillment in spending time with my family and friends…including the four-legged ones! And when I’m not in the office I love taking long walks, traveling, watching history documentaries and researching my family tree.
